First Division

DIVISION ONE REVIEW 2006/07 SEPTEMBER AFC Rangers make a strong start with three straight wins but they are being matched win for win by MK Ginder and Cassiobury Rangers. T&F Motors have made a poor start to life in Division One, and are struggling along with Inter and The Vic at the foot of the table. OCTOBER The top three stay the same although Ginder suffer a first defeat at Roundbush. Reed Rangers end the month in fourth place, six points behind Cassiobury Rangers. Jarman Park are in fifth place after a solid start but this will be the high point of their season as within three months they would have folded. NOVEMBER Ginder take over from AFC Rangers although they are still unbeaten. Reed Rangers lead the chasing pack with TOTAL, Kings Head and Oxhey Estates just behind. At the bottom Inter are yet to win with just one point to their name. DECEMBER AFC Rangers go back to the summit whilst Inter claim their first win of the season with a shock 3-1 victory over Reed Rangers. Inters victory means they are just a point behind T&F Motors. Second place Cassiobury Rangers are also on the end of a shock result as they crash 7-3 at The Vic. JANUARY Cassiobury Rangers climb to within four points of AFC Rangers whilst Roundbushs four straight wins have shot them right up the table. At the bottom T&F Motors look close to being cut adrift as they suffer four more defeats while Inters improved form continues. FEBRUARY Only two points separate the top three sides as Oxhey Estates slide down the table is not helped by the fact they only manage to play one game in four weeks and this ends in a 9-0 defeat to Reed Rangers. MARCH AFC Rangers end the month just a point away from the title but they suffer their first defeat of the season at Ginder. Reed Rangers sixth straight win sees them just four points behind Cassiobury with a game in hand whilst at the bottom T&F Motors grab a vital 2-1 victory over Kings Head to bring them level with Inter. APRIL AFC Rangers clinch the title as Ginder slip out of contention at the death as they suffer three defeats in their final four games to leave them in fourth place. Reed Rangers amazing run continues as they take runners up with wins against Cassiobury Rangers and AFC Rangers. T&F Motors end the season in bottom place, although they can take consolation that it is only on goal difference from Inter.
