PREMIER DIVISION REVIEW 2006/07
SEPTEMBER
Watford Eagles head the table taking nine points from their four games but their good start was over shadowed by their continuing ill-discipline that would ultimately see them removed from the League. With no other teams yet to make an impression it leaves the two Greens, Selex and Leavesden to prop up the table.
OCTOBER
With Headstone and Abbots yet to lose the table begins to take shape with eight teams separated by only four points. The bottom four have been cast adrift and are points behind Colne Valley in eighth place. Selex Green pick up their first points of the season to leave Leavesden Green rooted to the foot of the table.
NOVEMBER
Leavesden Green secure their first points of the season while Headstone and The Reindeer open a four point gap at the top of the table. A points deduction for Gadeside sees them drop down the table but remain in touching distance of the leaders with The Old Shepherd heading the chasing group.
DECEMBER
With very little action played in the month it is as you were at the top but Abbots take advantage and move within a point of the leaders. Selex Greens victory over fellow strugglers, Riverside Royals takes them three points clear of the bottom.
JANUARY
Leavesden Green start the New Year well and move off the bottom for the first time to leave North Bushey at the bottom while Gadeside jump into third place. Dalys and Colne Valley move up a couple of places at the expense of The Reindeer.
FEBRUARY
Headstone lose their unbeaten record but remain in third place with four games in hand. The Old Shepherds slump in form continues as they fail to pick up any points and North Busheys two wins lift them out of the bottom three.
MARCH
Abbots are replaced at the top by Headstone who are using their games in hand to make up lost ground. Riverside Royals pick up valuable points but remain eight points behind The Old Shepherd who share the spoils with North Bushey to stop the rot.
APRIL
Headstone secure the title with a win over bottom placed Selex Green. Gadeside and Dalys end their season in third and fourth place while The Reindeer secure wins in their final games to finish in fifth place on goal difference to Colne Valley. Riverside Royals failure to fulfil their last two games is not enough to stop Selex Green ending their Premier Division debut in last place.
